Now that Halloween is over, it's time to start a look back at some of the cool ads and commercials that companies thought up for the holiday. I'll start the first with this Kmart commercial, which features a very simple premise of a little girl in her costume screaming in slow motion at the camera. Take a gander.
It's totally simple, and that's why I like it. But I also like to imagine just how they got this footage - did someone sit kids down in front of a camera, then pull out a bag of scary costumes, puppets, and weapons to get the actors to scream? Or did they just bring Pennywise the Clown in and have him do his thing? Or was this ALL FAKED?! Who will ever know?
Plus, the blood running down the Kmart logo surprisingly works for me.
